Purpose of the role:

This role exists to deliver integrated TAR activity plans. The role holder has an overview on all TAR related activities, formulates the process flow and integrated activity plan, and continuously optimizes planning process, in liaison with Maintenance, Engineering and Production, aiming at a cost efficient employment of resources, in line with timelines for TAR activities. This needs to be done in compliance with all relevant agreements and existing procedures and standards, including HSEQ. The TAR Planner reports to the TAR Manager with a dotted line to the Integrated Activity Planner and works closely with the Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Subsurface and Wells Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Activity Gathering Proactively gather and screen data and information on all TAR related activities, in liaison with the Onshore Production Manager, Offshore Production Manager, Maintenance Manager and Technical Department, so that all required information is available to draw up the TAR activity planning. The TAR planner works closely with the Integrated Activity Planner to assure the TAR plans are properly incorporated in the overall IAP.

TAR Activity Plan Formulate the process flow and planning framework and draw up the TAR activity plan, in line with timelines and available internal and external resources, including personnel, logistics, equipment and budget, and establish priorities for the activities in cooperation with the departments involved, in order to set a clear planning for other departments.

Continuous Improvement Keep abreast of developments in own discipline and evaluate the use of current and emerging techniques and methods. Initiate and identify opportunities for improvement and implement it after approval of the TAR Manager, in order to improve the TAR activity planning process, according to the company specification, quality standards and best practices.

Administration Ensure the administration of the TAR activity plan, process and other relevant information, in line with operating procedures and CMMS system (Maximo), to ensure the availability of accurate information for relevant parties and to comply with relevant legislation and HSEQ standards.

Planning Support Advisory role in overall planning, in line with delivery time and conditions. Support the IA Planner and OME Teams on request in the (detailed) work planning activities, in order to improve the planning process and outcome.

Qualifications/Training:

  • Bachelor degree, Planning & Logistics;
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of planning process experience.

Experience/Knowledge:

  • Significant experience within the Oil & Gas industry;
  • Good level of knowledge of other discipline functions e.g. Operations, Maintenance, Inspection, Engineering, Projects;
  • Proven ability to work effectively with management and influence/challenge management;
  • Up to date knowledge of technological developments, industry initiatives, etc.;
  • Dutch and English proficient.
