Participate in contractual workshops on codes& standards with engineering contractors in order the engineering contractors to understand specific necessities resulting from company standards with respect to plant operability, -accessibility and -maintainability, process safety, installation and operation costs;
Perform independent desktop 3D model reviews during projects' lifecycles. Record, track and communicate deficiencies in design and ensure rectification of identified defects;
Organize, coordinate and facilitate reviews and approvals of cross-discipline engineering documents and deliverables like plot plans, PFDs, P&IDs, 3D models, isometric drawings, equipment assemblies, etc.;
Ensure that reviewed/approved design packages meet relevant legal, technical and economic needs;
Safeguard the observance of codes & standards (as well as project specific mutually agreed deviations) by the engineering contractors during design and execution of the project.
University degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience;
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in oil & gas industry either with an operator, an engineering contractor or an equipment/piping manufacturer;
