Broad-scale responsibility from technical development of a project starting with the development of the PIN to the management of project execution of the entire project scope finishing with the end of the start-up period;
Coordinating the project team (technology representative) to come up with the technical expertise to guarantee sound judgement regarding the right technology and process licence to be used;
Integrating different disciplines of the project team to ensure the timely completion of project deliverables according a budget, time and scope;
Diving a project by defining project goals, adhering to them and leading the project team;
Securing the commercial viability of projects, adding value to the business and ensuring its long term competitiveness;
Strategic planning and leadership of project goals and scope to substantiate the commercial viability of a project;
Definition of project from Assets onwards by developing all relevant subplans (HAZID report, Basis of Design, CFQ report, etc.);
Development of Project Execution Plan which includes all relevant subplans (risk register, HSSE requirements).
University degree in mechanical or chemical engineering, materials sciences or equivalent technical discipline or economics and 5- 8 years’ relevant experience;
Sound cross disciplinary technical and economic understanding of all impacts for MLTOC (minimum life time cost of ownership);
Highly aware of corresponding laws and regulations, international company and company codes and standards, respective company guidelines, etc.;
Experience in operations or maintenance, including P&L responsibility preferred;
High stress resistance to handle diverse objectives, manage the project team while, as well, assisting the project team with technical expertise and experience;
Excellent communication and presentation skills and fluency in English;
International flexibility (e.g. Refinery Burghausen).
