Do you have what it takes to drive and manage our dedicated Risk Analysis team? Are you passionate, driven and have the ability to move things forward? Then you might be our next Manager, Head of Risk Analysis.

As Manager, Head of Risk Analysis you will lead a team of 6 highly dedicated specialists, and you will be referring directly to our Head of Risk Management in Danske Commodities.

You will have the overall responsibility for the tasks in the team, where you among other things will work with establishing well-founded valuation models and analyses to support our Market Risk and Credit Risk teams, conduct risk assessment on business cases to provide an independent view and recommendation on cases, and in general be proactive in improving work-flows and processes. The right candidate for this position has great quantitative skills, good management competencies, and is able to create value and build trust in the team and among stakeholders in the organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • manage a team of 6 highly skilled and experienced employees;
  • ensure the motivation of the team where focus is on developing the employees and their competencies;
  • set clear targets for the employees and ensure close follow-up, as well as provide constructive feedback;
  • ensure continuous development and maintenance of the quantitative model library;
  • ensure continuous development of valuation models including:
    • Data analysis;
    • Business analysis;
    • Model analysis and development.
  • ad-hoc analysis to support e.g. business cases and risk management framework;
  • ensure high performance of the models with regard to calculation and system resources;
  • ensure documentation of calculations, models and data according to standards;
  • initiate improved workflows and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

We expect that you:

  • have a relevant education within Economy, Mathematics, Finance or similar;
  • have experience from the energy industry and a solid understanding of the business;
  • have a well-founded quantitative toolbox;
  • preferably, have manager experience from a similar position, or most importantly the interest to work with people management;
  • have the ability to lead a committed team;
  • have a collaborative and flexible working style;
  • have an excellent command of English and Danish.
