What we expect:

Alongside your Degree in Engineering (PhD, Master) you are passionate about renewable energy and all related aspects of energy transition. You can provide a fair amount of hands-on experience in the design of energy systems (wind, solar, storage) and proven substantial project experience. You've shown you can work collaboratively on energy industry projects involving technical consultants, owner's engineers and independent engineers. If you're familiar with different use cases for storage (primary frequency response, peak shaving, capacity, VPP, power plant resource planning, etc.) that would be a huge plus. Ideally you are familiar with the relevant regulatory schemes in Germany and in Europe.

The biggest asset you can provide, is your ability to work efficiently and productively in national as well in international teams and to proactively address customer requirements. Additionally, we emphasize the need of strong technical and interpersonal communication skills on all customer levels. Sound communication capabilities in German and English are a precondition.

Extensive and applicable IT skills with general tools (MS-Suite) and domain specific tools (NEPLAN, PowerFactory, MatLab, PSCAD, etc.) are another essential requirement.
