Your job

As a Senior Gas Trader you are part of the Gas Markets Team. Your responsibilities will include the following tasks:

  • Active risk-taking in the global gas markets;
  • Trading European Hubs, JKM and Henry Hub using standard and structured products;
  • Develop, rollout and execute trading strategies;
  • Keeping track on fundamental trading trends in the commodity markets by analyzing the key fundamental drivers;
  • Providing market access services to internal as well as external customers;
  • Define requirements for analysis and build-up a trustful cooperation.

Your profile

  • 5 year trading experience in the gas market, with a proven track record;
  • Active risk taker;
  • Outstanding analytical skills and result orientated;
  • Quantitative programming and financial modelling skills preferred;
  • Strong profit and performance orientation;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Have a disciplined trading style with sound position/P&L management;
  • Reliable team player who is proactively supporting the team approach;
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with various stakeholders;
  • Excellent negotiation skills;
  • Master university degree level with financial background or comparable qualification.
