Areas of responsibility

  • Lead the execution of Wind Turbine efficiency and improvement projects onshore and offshore including definition of project scope and development of capex budget and schedule;
  • Create, maintain and monitor all phases of project plan, budget, deliverables, and time frame;
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders, and provide team members with appropriate direction and focus to accomplish project goals and objectives;
  • Manage the interface with Development, Engineering, Procurement, Energy Marketing, Operations, Interconnection Agreements, Finance and Groups internal or external to EC&R to ensure overall compliance with the project objectives, contracts, budgets and schedules;
  • Proactively manage project contracts including review and approval of change orders and invoices;
  • Assure the timely execution of the projects within the established schedule and budgetary constraints and in compliance with safety, reliability, quality and regulatory requirements;
  • Maintain appropriate communication with senior management and all project groups and functions within and outside the company. Prepare and distribute progress status reports, as required;
  • Conceptualize, develop, and implement smart maintenance practices for the global fleet.

Your profile

  • Mechanical Engineering degree or related degree from an accredited school, other than correspondence or on-line;
  • Masters Degree in an engineering, scientific discipline or related degree is preferred;
  • five or more years’ work experience in the wind energy business, in the areas of operation and maintenance, digitalization, engineering or R&D in wind farm operators, equipment suppliers or engineering organizations;
  • Familiarity with project management techniques;
  • Proven ability to manage project leading multidisciplinary teams toward successfully achieve project targets, timelines and budgets;
  • Active stakeholder management and negotiation skills in a demanding project environment;
  • Planning and organizational skills including effective prioritization with a clear operational focus;
  • Creativity, be open for everything new and keen on learning and improvement. Track record on driving and managing change in different business environments;
  • Experience in international project teams and business;
  • Good interpersonal skills leading to high level results within an international team;
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with various project teams and internal/external partners;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
