Following our company restructuring and new investments last year Expro have got ambitious plans to grow. We are expanding our portfolio of services, and are currently recruiting for a sales manager to join our operation in Stavanger.

The successful candidate will be required to deliver new and profitable business across the Scandinavia Area and provide front line sales support to the Clients, effectively liaising with the Norway’s Area operations teams. There will also be a requirement to foster the right relationships with Clients to provide accurate and up to date intelligence on their organisation, specific needs, standards and activity schedules to enable appropriate sales strategies to be developed in order to measure and report on business development activities.

Principal Accountabilities

  • To identify opportunities for new business within the Scandinavia Area and develop appropriate strategies for delivering these in conjunction with the Central Product Lines, Business Development and Operations teams;
  • Front line sales actively seeking and meeting new Clients, establishing meetings supported by Technical Sales specialists;
  • To foster the right relationship with Clients in the Scandinavia Area so their business and contracting needs are fully understood and met;
  • The preparation of tenders and their associated commercial evaluations and business cases;
  • To act as a source of accurate and up to date market intelligence from competitors and clients and their contracting strategies;
  • Ensure the effective flow of information across Operations teams and Expro Product Lines;
  • Actively using Salesforce every day to share intelligence and actions from front line sales;
  • Liaison and communication with Norway Area clients and Expro’s internal departments;
  • Promoting Expro’s services;
  • Presenting and Marketing Expro to new and prospective clients;
  • Signing authority commensurate with responsibilities.

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Experience in a Wells disciplines like; Well Testing, Wireline, Data Acquisition, Fluids or Subsea;
  • Strong communication, negotiating and interpersonal skills;
  • Commercial awareness and a bias for identifying and pursuing business opportunities;
  • Presentation skills;
  • Hold a Technical Qualification;
  • Integrity/Compliance - behaves in a fair, honest and ethical manner toward others; adheres to Company Code of Conduct;
  • Commercially astute with good business principles in relation to price, cost and profit;
  • Interpersonal Sensitivity – identifies with and shows understanding or concern for others; values diversity;
  • Innovative thinker, in terms of market dynamics and change management.
