Continuous development of the Neftex Geodynamic Plate Model;
Applying regional data and tectonic knowledge to aid model constraints;
Working closely with other teams to provide support;
Help derive innovative and efficient solutions to global tectonic problems;
Technical presentations to clients and within the wider Halliburton organisation;
Work with external contractors and Academic experts;
Support our strong adherence to standards and quality.
A Geoscience related degree;
Experience and proven practical application of Global Plate Tectonic Modelling technologies with advanced use of PaleoGIS and GPlates software packages;
A professional attitude (you will work within multidisciplinary teams therefore you must have drive and enthusiasm with excellent communication and presentation skills. We want you to ask questions and continuously look for efficiency gains and automation in workflows).
Structural Geology background;
Working knowledge of thermochronology systems and linking global tectonics to topography;
Advanced GIS and geoprocessing skills including the use of ModelBuilder, ArcPy, PyGPlates or FME.
