This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team at Perenco. You will be a key player in our Drilling Operations and will report directly to the Drilling Manager.

We are currently seeking one Senior Drilling Engineer. The position is based in Norwich. The successful candidate will plan and provide operational support to the Perenco UK operated wells in the Southern North Sea.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with the Norwich and London based G&G team and the Norwich based Operations teams to optimize well design and performance.
  • Produce the Basis of Design and the Drilling Programs.
  • Ensuring adherence to Perenco and Government policies and standards.
  • Provide drilling software expertise (Landmark suite preferred).
  • Develop a wide knowledge base of Industry technologies for application to Perenco's future operations
  • Liaise with partners.

Qualifications/Experience desirable:

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • 10 years relevant experience, with a minimum of 7-8 years as a Drilling Engineer with an Operator.
  • North Sea experience preferable.
  • Capability of working with Drilling Software.
