Responsibilities

  • Strategic sales management - build and grow sales pipeline as part of the sales team. Ensure targets for revenue, margins, and customer satisfaction are met;
  • Customer support throughout project finance due diligence. As well as ensuring good understanding of customers projects in their pipeline;
  • Gathering knowledge such as competitor activity, support systems for wind energy and customers international activities;
  • Coordinate and facilitate tenders and negotiations. Project and manage the sales process throughout the bidding process, ensuring timely passage through the stages of the sales process;
  • Mobilise and manage the sales team according to team selling principles. Ensuring involvement of internal stakeholders during execution of the sales strategy;
  • Ensure timely submission of proposals in accordance with the sales strategy;
  • Investigate and document outcome of sales project for lessons learned purposes.

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of relevant Investment banking or consulting experience – having experience and understanding of a corporate matrix structure;
  • Experience in financial business modelling and managing customers through project finance due diligence;
  • Sales experience in a similar dynamic environment, ideally from the wind industry but could be from similar complex large-scale equipment sales;
  • Strong educational background within a relevant business, engineering or finance degree at Master level, supplemented by an MBA from an esteemed university is an advantage;
  • Ambitious and willingness to go the "extra mile" to achieve an interesting international career;
  • Project management skills would be beneficial.

  • Excellent communication skills and an active listener;
  • Superior analytical capabilities, methodical in your approach but still able to keep momentum;
  • A team player who is willing to learn and develop, but still attain high integrity and credibility;
  • Able to remain calm under pressure, but still have a high level of persistence when needed;
  • Culture affinity and a strong level of empathy;
  • Fluent in English, other languages are an advantage e.g. Nordic language.
